@michaelsobrien The IHSA needs to move this back to the 2027 season. Changing the calendar on kids, families, and coaches now is silly. Take your time, get your ducks in a row and then roll it out in a timely manner.

JUST IN: The IHSA is considering allowing football practice to start five days earlier.
The new playoff/season format may result in practice starting on Aug. 5.

We will host Edwardsville in the 1st round of the Playoffs on Friday night at 6 PM. Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $8 or you can purchase tickets using the Go-Fan link for $7.30. Parents be aware that your parent passes will not be accepted.

🚨Athletic directors, school boards, HR directors, and ISD budget directors:
‼️If your coaches are working in the summer for summer workouts, find a way to pay them! Even if it is just filling their gas tank each week, reward them for their time and dedication.
👉I have been places where we got $25 an hour, a place where we got $38 an hour, and places where we got nothing. We were going to work hard regardless. It sure improves morale to give them some cash.
