Our team voted Matt Brown, Cal McCarthy, Cody White and Eric Brunner captains yesterday. They made excellent decisions with those four.

Solid first scrimmage for the team today. Saw good things on both sides of the ball and areas from improvement as well.

Impressed with the resiliency of this team. We've challenged and pushed them hard and their attitude is consistent. Good to see.

2011 Media Day is in the books ... had a great day weather wise and good to see our media in attendance. But, now its back to football.

After a long summer of recruiting and preparation, it was great to get back out on the field tonight. Tempo was good for first time out.

Today was the best scrimmage we've had since we got here ... big plays on both sides of the ball. Really happy with what I saw out there!

This team is leaps and bounds ahead of last year's squad at this time ... they look like a completely different team and that's a good thing
