@Coach_Beltran_ It's no different in most travel baseball organizations. We both know plenty of kids who were sold a dream from some top level organizations only to end up on the B team. It's baseball. You're always fighting for your spot.

@Coach_Beltran_ So if a coach thinks his best chance to win now is with older guys with experience from the portal he has to do what is best for his program. Winning baseball games is what they get paid for.

Colleges are losing/cutting basically whole 2024 recruiting classes and pushing them to the portal right now. Still think it’s all the players fault?

@Coach_Beltran_ Was A&T what they made you believe it was ? Was App State what Manning thought he was getting himself into? Or Aaron Jones at UNCW? These are just guys from our juco team. Telling kids one thing to get them committed and then doing the opposite is not new

@Coach_Beltran_ And we both know that lying to kids during recruitment certainly didn't start with the transfer portal. Remember all those JUCO studs before the portal was a thing ? how many of them were D1 bouncebacks unhappy with their initial decision. Alot

@Coach_Beltran_ If you needed a car this year you would get something ready to get you from point A to point B now. You're not buying a car that's gonna take 2-3 years to be road ready even if it's a Lamborghini. You need a car now.

@Coach_Beltran_ In the era of the transport portal it's all about who helps that coach win now. Alot of these coaches won't even be at the school in 2027 when that 2024 is finally developed.
