@SundayShare10 These sessions are based on my Game Model and the 4-2-3-1/4-diamond-2 (IP), 4-4-2 (OoP) formations. As the team develops, we’ll look to transition to ‘shapes’ reacting to the opposition rather than a set formation. The 1st session is an Principle Based session:

‼️ 3 Corner Routines - 1 hand raised: Nearest player runs closest then spins out. On spin, delivery into box for all to attack, on penalty spot. -2 hands raised: Nearest + front post run short. All others attack a penalty spot delivery - ball bounced twice: Pen spot runner towards edge of box, edge of box runs to pen spot. All others attack deliver on GK #restarts #corner #football #coaching

‼️ Get down the line to cross IDP: LB GK (distribution) ST B1: GK starts play by passing out to LB who beats RB and delivers cross to 9 to finish. If RB wins ball, they score in mini goal. Coach plays to 9 after set to finish unopposed. B2: LB plays 1:2 with ST. ST moves into position to attack a cross but it not set quickly enough, LB can deliver across box to other mini goal B3: LB cuts inside and plays a slipped ball for ST or drives a cross to mini goal CP’s: - attack space and how to beat the defender - angle of support for ST

⚽️ Defend Wide Areas (position specific) - coach/server player to red 8 who combines with wide players. Can deliver via cross, pass or cut back - blue aim to score in either mini goal - red aim to score in main goal - block 1: coach to 8 to wide - block 2: 8 to wide (deeper) - block 3: 8 to 9 who sets wide - block 4: free play before going wide Coaching points: - LB gets tight to W: W right to RB - if ball shaped in behind, W tucks in, LB drops - if ball to 9, LB narrows and closes space, forcing wide to press

⚽️Principal Based Session: SSG / possession games / half pitch etc..Directional or multi directional. Targets for both teams (goals / passes / zones / end lines). Transitional practice. High level of repetition / flow.⚽️

Another incredibly positive learning experience back home on the FAW UEFA Diploma- contact 2 residential. Learnt lots from fellow candidates, mentors and guest speakers. My highlight being a 90 minute, off the cuff, presentation from Craig Bellamy.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿⚽️
