From a scouting perspective, Roman Oben was the type of offensive tackle coaches and NFL teams could depend on year after year. A third-round pick out of Louisville in the 1996 NFL Draft, he built a 12-year NFL career because of his consistency, toughness, football IQ, and fundamentally sound play.
