@Realrclark25 Any coach defending this drill should allow their own child to be the ball carrier first. Coaches first job is the make sure players are safe, has absolutely nothing to do with be being SOFT!! The MATH AINT MATHING 1 vs 3

Working a triangle on single ball carrier with no blocking is pure stupidity. Also, how soft are both defenders for going low on the ball carrier. It’s 3 of y’all and you’re cutting his legs. Not to mention being terrible teammates. Outlaw this dumb ass drill now. It’s on the coach. The players are just doing what they are told!

NEW: SEMO football showcased a drill that is complete stupidity. This is EXACTLY how players end up getting hurt for no reason… 🤦‍♂️

Intrusive leadership reminds us that the best teams are built on trust, not fear or titles. It’s a leadership standard that can literally save lives, build character, and create wins that aren’t measured on a scoreboard.

@CoachReedLive The common denominator is the kid and if your about kids then who ever gets the credit shouldn’t matter. I have over 20yrs in HS FB, I also have sons who played both COLLEGE/HS and on 7on7 teams. Never had a coach ask for 7on7 film. 7on7 is about SKILL reps. ITS NOT 11 on 11 FB.

The battle between high school and 7 on 7 coaches is not really a conflict over exposure or development. Even though it is dressed that way. It is a conflict over control, and which adult is going to be in charge of the exposure and development.

@CoachShiffman This is horrible, exactly why @THSCA here in Texas has an entire 3 day coaching clinic. Can’t wait to watch the @espn @thepivot @FirstTake segments on this university and its coaching staff🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

Houston HC Kelvin Sampson - Why Coaches Fail - "I think the coaches that fail at every level, are the coaches that are passive aggressive. Passing aggressive coaches are usually afraid to hold kids accountable, they rationalize." - "If you're going to build a culture, the first thing you have to come to grips with, you're going to have confrontation." - Consistency - Competence - Confidence - Confrontation

I know we keep telling these kids they need to run track but we also have to do better with the coaching for these HS track programs. Kids can tell when you just put a football coach over it to collect a stipend. Then yall blame everyone else when they don't want to run.

@jisadore409 to elaborate on what @jisadore409 is saying. 70% of all students participate in an extracurricular activity. w/out those activities attendance and therefor academics (test scores) would drop as well. -where should ur priorities be- ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️

As a head coach, every decision you make should have this as your #1 priority….What’s best for the kids? In hiring, firing, schemes, facilities…you name it. Sometimes this forces us to swallow our pride but pride has been the downfall of many a coach. It’s not about “us” as coaches. Simply put, the decisions you make should always be in the best interest of the team and your players.
