A flame-grilled cheeseburger cooked on a barbecue with skin-on fries and a soft drink is just over a tenner @pleasure_beach 🍔 I think it’s an extra couple of quid if you want a beer instead. Suddenly seems like excellent value, compared to other parks 💪

Not regretting cancelling my Merlin pass at all. It’s now nearly £100 to feed a family of four once at Merlin parks. How the mighty have fallen…and fallen…and continued to fall 😩😩

Paultons Park are really smashing it out the park. Announcing a new coaster on the opening day of your new coaster is genius, and working with Mack is icing on the cake. Talk about great PR 😍

If someone wants to pay £50 to experience a new ride before its official launch, then that’s up to them. The amount of negativity I’ve seen towards these preview patrons is shocking. “I wouldn’t be sad enough to pay that”…good for you, now crack on and shut up.

@FPL_BigTime @ThemeParkWW Usually BPB put a lot of thought into their events, and they are full of surprises, but this event felt a bit rushed and unorganised. It was cool getting on the first ride, but a lot of people left deflated. Great ride though, best in the UK 🙌

@ThemeParkWW VIP preview Event also known as a scandalous cash grab. Lot of money to pay to ride a flat ride 1 week early. Hardly exclusive either is it if the queues are miles long? 🤣

Aviktas is a brilliant addition to Blackpool Pleasure Beach Resort 🤩 With intense forces, airtime and amazing views it’s by far the best flat ride in the UK 🇬🇧 Unfortunately the £50pp VIP preview event was very unorganised. Hopefully we also see operations improve soon!

@mail1010101010 Since Merlin pulled out of Blackpool I just don’t see the point. I’m not planning on visiting Towers until November and I’ll probably only do a couple of trips to Thorpe.

@CoasterJoey @dean8001 @richardpaulmatt @Pleasure_Beach How did you manage to get 2 rides? I was one of the first cycles (like 5th) and the queue was shut by the time I got off. It is a good ride though 100%

Turned out the ride wasn’t “ours” for an hour, only 15 minutes! ⚠️ Really poor show from @Pleasure_Beach 👎 The ride delivered, but sadly the event itself didn’t deliver as it wasn’t as advertised! 😔
