IRON WOLF … REBORN! 🐺🎢🤯 The National Roller @CoasterMuseum acquired one of the trains from the first ever B&M standup coaster, and they had it restored and reskinned back to its original 1990s theme. IRON WOLF opened at Six Flags Great America @SFGreat_America in 1990. It was the first coaster ever designed and manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard. B&M has gone on to become one the most successful manufacturers of steel coasters in the world. The ride was eventually sent to Six Flags America where it was rethemed to Apocalypse. Then it was converted to a floorless sitdown coaster named Firebird. The museum acquired one of the trains after Six Flags America closed for good in 2025. 📸: The Carpetbagger

@RealBeanie__ Literally opening several times this year for construction previews so people can see our progress in person, and we invite you to come, too. It’s an active construction site and only an hour from Wonderland in Amarillo. Land was free so we have no lease to ever worry about.

Reminder: the Rollercoaster Museum has been taking donations from us for 20 years, yet has nothing really to show for it, except maybe 3 days a year, one of them a "come work for free" day. They had the opportunity a decade ago to prove people are interested, but declined Dollywood's offer.

@RealBeanie__ Sure, if you ignore the 20,000 sq. ft building we erected and nearly 100 historic vehicles saved from the scrapyard oh and the giant corkscrew now out front. Donations are slow but we do what we can with what we have been given. Sorry it hasn’t been fast enough for you.

@bioreconstruct As Canobie was my park growing up, someone should crack you in the neck with a crowbar to really simulate the Arrow Corkscrew experience.
