@LostTelly My partner is an artist in the fandom and professionally. We have this conversation a lot and I do understand the fear and concern artist have. But we can live in a world where Gen AI can be good, but applications of it can be bad. It doesn't all have to be one or the other.

@LostTelly Everyone hears AI and says "ALL AI IS BAD!" when they are specifically talking about a narrow focus of Gen AI. And I get the AI Slop arguments truly. There is a real threat to artist here. But not all Gen AI is bad or slop. There is so many fantastic uses of it people don't see.

Maybe next time instead of making baseless accusations you take time to read the description which explains what the panel is and that the images aren’t used for generative AI
