@Icege tekken 5 dr gameplay with tekken 4 aesthetics is how I wanted the series to progress tbh.

That said, Tekken 4 was one of my favorite Tekkens and still has the nostalgia hit for me since that was when I really began to lean into the FGC and made a lot of friends that I still talk to today. Tekken 6 has that same impact now for the new batch of uncs and OGs. I get it.

It is really weird to me seeing folks point to Tekken 6 as their ideal Tekken when that was literally when everything they hate about Tekken today started happening. -Comeback mechanic (rage) -Tracking strings -Extended combos -Stage gimmicks (introduced in T4 but upped in T6)

@CockroachDash @lled26 I would even change this to say western AAA. Eastern studios seem to be doing fine.

Gaming is not dead…. AAA titles are dead. Lets make sure we get that right. Indie games and side devs are killing it right now. Investing more into those lately and its definitely been a better experience.

@alcratz Ah yes people are missing the story and characters in tekken and devs talking to them, not the gameplay being a clusterfuck. That being said : I will be happy to see green-polygon paul, deathfist - falling leaf!
