With gratitude to my late mother who planted the litchi trees in our garden & to the bees that pollinated the flowers .When visitors told her she would not be around to enjoy the fruits she reminded them trees are planted so future generations can enjoy the fruit #GiftEconomy

Arrived in #Coorg after a gruelling 26 hour journey by bus, plane & taxi. 6 police checkpoints & deserted roads en-route. 7 day quarantine increased to 14 by Indian Govt as I was flying. But here is the garden I'm blessed with - truly inspiring - so expect new recipes & dishes...

I'm enjoying very homestyle, fresh salads for lunch while in #Kodagu - up in the hills in South India. Sprouted moong, carrot, coconut, red onion & wild green chilli (which packs a punch!) Healthy food is more important now than EVER :)

Today I'm curating menus for hopeful wedding couples :) Included are aloo tikki w/ mint, yoghurt & tamarind date chutney, Punjabi Jheenga - black tiger prawns in spiced yoghurt marinade & Jaffna goat curry with red chillies, pandan leaves and coconut milk #whataboutweddings
