@RiotsZA I think I worry about the "now" too much sometimes. Staying vs leaving both have their pros and cons. I just hate change. I'm comfortable where I am and perhaps that is a reason for me to go (aside from everything else). I will hate the commute I have to make thought l😂

@CodeCallum I don't have much experience in this but if I was in this situation, my mindset would be: If your new job has more potential for learning and earning than your current job, then take it. Sometimes you have to look at these things with a perspective that might be a bit selfish.

A company reached out to me with a job I didn't have the experience for yet. Regardless, I managed to secure an in-person interview as they saw me as a fit. I nailed it but my experience was a problem factor. Apparently I nailed it so well, they created a new position for me.

After a year working for a small family run company, the thought of leaving really sucks. I'm so torn over this. If anyone has gone through this, what helped you?

The position is fast tracked for an intermediate dev. I'm skeptical but I reckon this is likely my next step. I wasn't looking for a new job but this isn't something I could overlook. Got the call today, it's final checks and then final negotiations.

Finally found out they also got our address wrong and now that we have that sorted we will have to wait for line activation on WebAfrica's end 🤣 I'm likely moving again in Jan, added ISP cancellation and new setup fees to our budget

I've given up all hope with WebAfrica. Tried to stay positive by after 2 weeks of dealing with their support - I don't believe they know what support is... Breaks my brain that an employee deactivated my line due to "tampering", cancelled our service, and forget to tell us.

@TGB_ZA Looked at them this morning. Unfortunately they don't work with TT Connect so they're off the list.

@CodeCallum I am with UrbanX and they are nothing but great their support is top tier and 24/7 I have no complaints maybe look at them as an alternative

@leppie Looked into them as well as others. I'm happy to pay more if I get a more support

The fight I have to endure to get my service back online is ridiculous. You'd expect an ISP to prioritise this case and get it fixed within a day or two. Do not use WebAfrica. They may be cheap(?), we learnt why. End rant.

I've sat with support multiple times doing the same checks. Waited in chats that get randomly closed. Even got different answers from different departments from the same question. They don't even have a standard way to verify someone's identity.

Anyone got a LFC fixture calendar I can copy? 👀

Nearly a week later and apparently someone who does not have access to my apartment "tampered with the line" They somehow know the name of who did it and told me to contact them... @webafrica @TTConnectopen

@byjono @webafrica @TTConnectopen The funniest part, it's a webafrica employee 😂 Webafrica investigated, said it's TT connect, then TT connect said it's webafricas fault.

@CodeCallum @webafrica @TTConnectopen from experience: webafrica is the WORST I've dealt with — they tried to take me to court because they cut my service so I cut my debit order

Anyone else feel like football on the TL has become insufferable? Most posts are just rage bait or farms.
