@adewale_afolabi Thanks! Since being acquired by Red Hat the Codenvy product has been open sourced to the @eclipse_che project. Which means you can now also install Che anywhere you want for free or contact @rhdevelopers to get access to a supported package.

@CodenvyHQ Good job codenvy, i have a little issue though. I defined a variable and used the 'not' operator but i was getting a syntax error. i would like to know what's happening. Thank you. code was as follows; username = 'abcde' while not username raw_input("username:")

Codenvy has been open sourced as Eclipse Che (free!) - so if you’re not already following @eclipse_che you should be because there’s a ton of great stuff going into the project!

Plugins bring their own dependencies in their container. No pain to configure developer tools dependencies.

Plugins in @eclipse_che are: - self contained, packaged as container - load at runtime - compatibility with VS Code extensions

Eclipse Che scores #1 and #2 for the @JAXenter list of top IDEs for #Node (since we power @CodenvyHQ too) Our favourite quote: "Eclipse Che boasts rich Node.js features including IntelliSense, key bindings, and refactoring that make adopting Che a seamless process.”

One simple but very useful thing you can do with Che is use the terminal from the web IDE to send commands to the dev machine! #CheTips

@caspervonb @ProtonMail We have suffered from a lot of abuse (our cloud provider nearly kicked us off) so our choices were (a) request a credit card for even a free plan…boo… or (b) limit email providers and blacklist certain sites. If you feel proton mail should be allowed file an issue on the repo!
