@TychoBrahe AI is what got me into dnd your first live show I didn’t get the Aeofel lives reference but it was still such an original form of entertainment to watch on YouTube. Dnd has been good to me (run a table for 5+yrs) and it all stemmed from AI and your stories not a setting or a die

For Acquisitions Incorporated, I always thought it was neat to be "official" D&D in some ways - but is that why you watch it?

@Caitlin27799305 I agree but when people willingly cut organic non faulty limbs for more advanced tech ones, I do think it’s not ethically sound.

@Codex5e I think for cyborgs to be a dominant part of society we need to consider to the pros outweigh the cons?

cyborgs replace or implant technology to enhance or correct faulty organic functions, but what the technology sends to the brain is electronic signals created by computers so would you be happy with your senses being replaced with computers over organic senses? #BCM325 #Alita

It's interesting the comparison between the two different positions both Dr. Randle and Kate are representing. Dr. Rnadle is the celebrity persona and engages in the denial viewpoint of the media. Kate releases the reality of the future but is shunned by the media. #BCM325

@juliajanej1 Yet machine fails man at every turn in this movie, because we expect to much from them before we test them Rigourously.

#DontLookUp “is a movie about a social media–obsessed civilization ignoring scientists as they warn the world about a threat to life on Earth, only to be undermined by politicians and business-folk who prioritize present profits over future peril.” #BCM325 slate.com/technology/202…

DiCaprio acknowledges that the film, originally conceived as a climate allegory, expanded into a more broad commentary on the public increasingly rejecting science more generally in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. #BCM325

The planet killing comet in #dontlookup can also be seen as a climate change metaphor alluding to the fact that society has an inability to stop it, and more concerningly an inability to care about the FUTURE implications. #bcm325

#BCM325 In the movie 'Dont Look Up' it may not seem futuristic, which may be due to how it was only made last year - a lot of the other films we have watched which were made a longer time ago, had more bold predictions and that "futuristic look" so to speak
