Every time I go to try Linux out, it lets me down by being Linux.

@SaraDiscovers I just want audio in Linux. Is that too much to ask?

@dad_prg I do tons of coding also. But seems I have to relearn everything I did, the next day when I fire up the PC. Ha!

@CodingAndThings The worst thing is I code for a living! And yet this stuff I managed at 7 or 8, and STOS on the Atari ST I did at 11 or 12, is incredibly hard today. My brain atrophied!

@CodingAndThings I tried a bit on the Amstrad recently and yeah I’m rusty beyond belief.

@FREEZE64UK More of a tinkerer, these days. Trying different things. I (ab)used the 3D mode on my TV a few years back to give 121 colours on the stock Maxi, effectively giving 160 x 100 resolution. That one divided the internet. People loved it but there were also a lot that were pissed. 🤣

@CodingAndThings And favourite games to play on it?

@FREEZE64UK Yeah, I got mine back on Christmas day, 6 years ago, or whenever it was when they first came out too. Was like being 12 again. 😃

@CodingAndThings That’s cool. I got mine on the day it was released, but because I have so many Commodore 64s, I haven’t taken it out of the box since. No need to get it out. But it’s a cool computer 👍

@FREEZE64UK Certainly is! I have a C64C on the shelf to the right, which I do all kinds of hardware stuff with. But, I find the Maxi great for testing out little projects.
