@JenaFriedman It gets easier (hopefully) and your nipples toughen up/they get better at eating. Use nipple cream! I had an ‘easy’ time with both kids so it was ok to keep going. But if it becomes impossible then give yourself permission to quit. Fed is best!

Did any of you breastfeed exclusively? And if so, HOW? Did you just suck up the pain of bloody, cracked nipples until they acclimated? I don’t want to relegate these questions to a mom blog, I want men who follow me on here to get that this shit is so incredibly hard.
