@WightlinkTravel @AFiney I don't need a further response. I'm just disappointed in your decision which means I may not be able to travel, if in the likely event that you cancel further sailings!

@WightlinkTravel @AFiney I would say that is your company's opinion, rather than fact, that there is enough room to social distance. Everyone will be using the same staircases, hand rails etc. It's not really a 'balance' to remove all of 1 type of sailing.

Due to absence of an essential member of crew the 14.00, 16.00, 18.00 & 20.00 sailings from Portsmouth and the 15.00, 17.00,19.00 & 21.00 sailings from Fishbourne have been cancelled on our Portsmouth - Fishbourne car ferry service Saturday, 21 & Sunday, 22 March March 2020.

@WightlinkTravel @AFiney This is naive, people want to stay in their car. I'm due to travel on Sunday and am only doing so as booked on the St Clare. If you cancel ferries the ones that do run won't be as quiet as you are running half your services!!

@AFiney Unfortunately not Anna, the Victoria is still the lead boat and there are foot passengers that rely on this route so staying in the vehicle will not be permitted. Booking levels are extremely low and there is plenty of space on Victoria to socially distance.

We have taken the difficult decision to postpone our event until next year. We realise that this news may be disappointing to many - we have emailed our exhibitors and ticket holders and will reach out to our mailing lists soon. Our intention is to run 21st – 30th Aug 202.
