@HeLLz_HBN We got the feedback. No BS. This is all about staying true to Modern Warfare. No clowny skins for launch and seasons beyond.

@Provyy @charlieINTEL Theres nothing wrong with that. Games are meant for enjoyment, not some virtual ego competition.

When I worked at CharlieIntel, was casting CoD, regularly in contact with ATVI many devs, was a higher end creator & got traction here, I was curious why I wasn’t at events. My answer with a source close to PR “Its because they have enough white men” Never again. I saw the most hivemind, bureaucratic shit while close to CoD PR. People who aren’t developers LARPING like they have actual pull at the studios. Creators being insecure as fuck competing for a hint of attention from their PR teams for the smallest chance to have access to the developers. Their PR teams literally GATEKEEP the development teams. Internally they have ABSOLUTELY no pull. They write little reports that are very clearly ignored if you play the game. Once at a CoD event I was at, a female creator admitted to me over drinks “I’m only here because I’m a gay woman” I was raised in a household that believed in earning your keep and rewarding honesty, integrity and people based off the content of their character. For the first time in my life at 20 years old, Activision showed the damage that performative inclusion does. I had dealt with discrimination due to my Jewish heritage earlier in life, but this was straight up people KNOWING they only mattered due to immutable characteristics. COD PR is shit and this is the reason I started pulling away and crashing out on CoD so often. Because it’s a weird fucking cult ran by disgusting, dishonest and racist pieces of garbage.

I'm seeing multiple posts about how Infinity Ward is "more open to feedback," but people like @JGODYT or @TheXclusiveAce (and more) weren't invited (or blacklisted) because they dared to give critical feedback when it was deserved. There's no reason that two of the most trusted, analytical, and value based creators in this scene should have been left off the list, in what appears to be some act of reprisal. It looks retaliatory and tells creators: it doesn't matter if you commit a decade to COD, if you fall out of line - you're out. The optics are awful. COD already has a reputation of a hive of creators who will hype up anything for the sake of invites or opportunities. Praise from a previous critic means INFINITELY more than praise from someone who only knows praise. If you're confident in your product (which based on the trailer and list of changes/features they absolutely SHOULD be) invite the people who had the balls to tell you the truth when you fell short. Maybe there's events they can attend in the future, but I've looked forward to their reveal reviews every single year. It's legitimately mind blowing they weren't allowed to attend. MW4 is the first COD I've been excited for in a couple years, but actions like this feel very shortsighted and counterproductive to rebuilding the trust and goodwill COD desperately needs to earn back.

@Wheeledgamer We want our movement to feel right for Modern Warfare so players can experience the game as a badass soldier. With all new additions, it's the most fluid movement we've ever made.
