If Disney can afford to give a $20 million golden parachute last year to a CEO who did a lousy job, it can afford to pay Disney World Cast Members who are struggling to pay the rent & groceries a minimum wage of at least $18/hour. I say to Disney: Pay your workers a living wage.

@CoffmanforGA I want to remind you just exactly what the Georgia GOP thinks of teachers. The Chancellor of the University System of Georgia, ex-GAGovernor Sonny Perdue, thought a $100 gift card given to each teacher at the start of every school year was sufficient to fund a classroom.

Kemp’s plan to increase teacher pay by $2k is an insulting attempt to make it look like he cares about teachers. That’s $100/month after taxes.
How about a real plan, like increasing min teacher pay to $50k+?! If we honestly think teachers are important, let’s pay accordingly.
