Sorry Ted. Amazing that the two worst teams in the NFL will likely be in the AFC East together.

@TedLamy @NFL @RapSheet @TomPelissero I don’t approve of how the Ravens manipulated the free agency/trade process, but Trey is a very good acquisition. To think a player who’s weeks or months away from recovering from surgery would pass a physical is a bit far fetched.

Sean Payton called me soooo fired up the Raiders traded Maxx Crosby and even just texted Maxx saying he’s offering to pay a private plane one-way flight to Baltimore, happy to see him out of the division. Funny But also added, “You are an inspiration to watch and compete against.” Payton has long raved about how Maxx never slows down during games

@jamesthiele @RaiderChad75 @JamesPalmerTV I know Chinn was the only guy I would have signed. Sure there were Pete guys who didn’t work out, but plenty of poor decisions by both the coach and GM. From Snake to Mack to Crosby- I didn’t agree with trading any of them.

I kept going back to a conversation I had with John Spytek at the Combine. He said they had to be very "sober" with where they were as an organization and a roster as they were approaching this offseason. That stuck with me. It felt like he knew what is ahead with this rebuild if they want to do it the right way. It felt like the compensation for Crosby was always going help them start turning this. And if they didn't do it now, who Crosby be at his best when they became a contender, or would his value be this high in a year or two?

As a #Raiders fan, my reaction is🤮. We did the same thing with Khalil Mack. How did that work out? Our GM had an awful first draft, signed FA OG Cappa last year, cut him today. Signed FA LB Pratt in June and cut him in October. Zero confidence in Spytek. Please prove me wrong

ESPN sources: the Raiders agreed to trade five-time Pro-Bowl DE Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for 2026 and 2027 first-round picks. The trade cannot be processed until next week, but it is in place. And Crosby is expected to be a Raven with two 1s back to Vegas.

@jamesthiele @JamesPalmerTV In a win now league you can’t have a draft like the one they had in 2025, filled with guys who weren’t ready for the NFL or ended up elsewhere. Did you like the free agents he signed? Just awful. Pete gets a ton of blame, but he wasn’t picking the players, Spytek was.

@CohenNFL @JamesPalmerTV Rebuild with a 95 year old head coach? Please. They struck out on the coaching hire and wasted a year. He gets a mulligan for that. The ship is his now and in 5 years, if they are still sub .500 and the roster hasn't developed, RaiderNation will hold him accountable.

@Bailez83 @JamesPalmerTV You think Pete held those guys out for a reason other than the players drafted weren’t ready to play in the NFL? In a “win now” league you can’t afford to have a draft like the one Spytek had last year. And yes, the coaches did a poor job of getting rookies ready to play.
