Dear Nexum Community, We appreciate that it has been a few months since our last communication to you, whilst we have been quietly working on a number of exciting and significant developments for the Nexum ecosystem. Our loyal community knows that the goal of the Nexum Ecosystem is to deliver interlinked financial services products to facilitate the integration of blockchain technology in everyday f inancial transactions in a user-friendly and regulatory-compliant manner. To that end we have developed the Nexum Platform, a product you are all familiar with, to become one of the main sources of capital for invoice financing utilised by traders in the shipping bunker fuel industry, whilst facilitating efficient and transparent capital allocation and funds transmission using blockchain technology. We are excited to announce to you today that we are introducing physical gold into our RWA product, set alongside shipping. We have completed a transaction to acquire a gold extraction factory as well as a number of gold mines that will enable significant gold production. We have designed a fully on-chain gold certification process that will act as the bridge between the gold mines, the refineries, and the market, and of course will be piloted from our own gold production. The Nexum digital gold certificate will provide an ‘end to end’ solution utilizing blockchain technology that allows instant transaction processing at low cost and replacing the existing, highly unreliable, paper-based system. The issued digital certificates on the blockchain (as NonFungible Tokens or NFTs) are not replicable and are immutable, therefore eliminating fraud risk and creating a tradeable instrument. Our gold NFT allows gold producing countries to ascertain the origin of the gold, enforce payment rules, provide direct access to local gold producers to the global market and provide the ability to track the comprehensive transactional history of any exported bullion. We are currently finalising the tokenomics model which will be announced soon and we expect this product to deliver significant value. We will also use capital raised from the sale of the gold certificates to capitalize the Nexum Platform, thereby reducing financing costs. Finally, to further enhance the safety and soundness of our technologies and products, we have developed Nexum Hub. Nexum Hub, an innovative patent-pending product, has been designed to facilitate the integration of blockchain wallets in the fiat-based economy. Nexum Hub revolutionises how owner data is stored, maintains owner’s privacy and anonymity and enables compliance with impending regulation such as MiCA and the Travel Rule. The product lies at the heart of the Nexum ecosystem, which is powered by the Nexum utility token. All users of the Nexum ecosystem are required to utilise Nexum Hub, where they must add at least one of their self-custodian blockchain wallets. User data is stored in a decentralised manner that satisfies the user’s right to be forgotten. An NFT is minted referencing the storage location of user’s verified identity data in accordance with international AML and data privacy requirements.
