Great start for L4's. 2-0 win against @IpswichHC L5's. Sophie Earley scoring, later followed by Nicki Brown, with a straight strike PC goal. Not bad for 10 players, plus welcoming back Stand in Skipper Amy Finbow-Jefferies. Well done all.

Fine debut performance by the junior players in the CHC M3 friendly with Tendring this morning. Special mention to Will Stych, who not only played his first M3 game, but scored a cracking goal too. Bring it on !

First 'Home' friendly match this morning. M3 fixture V Tendring 10.00 am. Come along and catch-up/watch. Also update Teamo at the same time! (No update=no playing). Pretty please. 😇😇

2024/25 club membership is now open. If you were a member last year, you must respond to recent email and Teamo messages to let us know if you will (or will not) be re-joining. If you are leaving us to join another club 😢,you must do a GMS transfer.

Great results today. Ladies 2's drew 2-2 @ieshockeyclub with 'Gunny' as stand in GK. L4's beat @ieshockeyclub 2-1 with no GK. 2 biggest shout outs were L1's winning 9-0 against Southend and M2 winning their first game of the season v @Pelicanshockey 2-1.

Congrats to CHC L1's on their win today away at St Albans. Goals from Libby Knifton-Mead and skipper Florencia Loray providing a 2-1 win in this rearranged fixture.

Centurions 11.30 session will take place.

Saxons training cancelled too.

Gladiators, Romans and Maldon Tournament all cancelled due to frozen pitches. We are hoping to run other later groups, this is still being reviewed. Please watch Teamo messaging for further updates.

M5's 'stole' a win against Harleston M6 with 'Grandad' Thorpe holding his nerve to finish a well constructed break and place the ball past the fast approaching Harleston keeper. Special mention to Jim Oliver for 'keeping' Colchester in the game.

Lovely friendly over 35's ladies cup game today @ieshockeyclub Great to see 'Lady Maria Wheelan' leading the lovely IES ladies. Colchester Ladies running out comfortable winners. The overall winner being 'friendly hockey'.

Fiercely contested M4 v M5 resulted in shared spoils today. M5 keeper Rob Nunn making some good saves on his return to playing. Final score 3-3.

Great turnout at L3/4 training tonight. A welcome return to the season. A great "baptism of fire" for new coach Josh Clarke too. Lots of young talent developing. Fun was had by all.

Great friendly last game of the season for M5's v Bury M7's. CHC running out 1-4 winners.Darren Leppard's brace, clinching the seasons top goalscorer spot. Don't mention the @burystedshockey guys who had a trip to Colchester rather than the home game!
