Minnestoa should absolutely try to get Pat away from Western, but I really hope Western gives Pat the blank check that he deserves to stay put. He has built this program from a very good one, to a national powerhouse. He is huge part of why the new arena is getting done. The leadership at Western seem like very smart people, so whatever you do, DO NOT LET PAT WALK OUT THE DOOR, MAYBE EVER. Add more zeros to his salary, whatever you have to!

As Pat Ferschweiler's name is tossed around as a possible candidate for the Minnesota job, and understandably so, here's a reminder that his buyout to leave WMU right now is about $1.9 million.

Yale Men's Head Hockey Coach nations search underway. Interim Head Coach Joe Howe is well thought of and certainly a candidate. A couple blue blood assistants have already expressed interest. Every D1 job is a precious opportunity. Wide net will be cast.
