On May 7th the NS Dept of Emergency Management will be conducting a test of the national public alert system, Alert Ready, at 1:55pm. This message will be broadcasted on television, radio & compatible mobile phones. Please refer to alertready.ca.

Please use care if you have to be on the roads tonight. Don’t drive through standing water and stay away from the river’s edges as the rivers are near capacity with fast moving water and moving ice.

Road conditions are poor with white out conditions. If travel is not necessary, please stay home.
