Norway's Oil Fund now holds over $2.1 trillion - the largest sovereign wealth fund on Earth. Built entirely from oil revenue that was saved, not spent. Syria could build something like it. The new Syria, a clean slate, a rare chance to build from the ground up. Iraq already has the wealth - one of the most oil-rich countries on Earth. But corruption, Iranian influence, and nepotism swallow it whole. The people never benefit. No one has actually built Iraq in twenty years. No one has tried. One country has nothing but a chance. The other has everything but the will.

There is no royal family in Europe more down-to-earth than Norway's. I feel it in my bones every time I think of them. I was ten years old when our beloved King Olav V passed away. Like every other child in Oslo, I was allowed to stand before his casket and whisper a final goodbye. I still remember the hush, the candles, the sense that we had all lost someone who truly belonged to us. Because that's what he was - not a distant monarch, but our king. I don't know of another country in Europe where the royal family is so loved, so close to the hearts of ordinary people, as in Norway. And tonight, that closeness shines again. King Harald - together with Crown Prince Haakon, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, and Prince Sverre Magnus - is welcoming Team Norge to the Royal Palace. Our athletes, our pride, our flag-bearers, celebrated by the very family that has stood beside this nation through every joy and every sorrow. This is Norway. This is who we are. ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ด

I don't think Oslo- or Norway as a whole- has witnessed anything like the electric energy filling the streets tonight! As Norway welcome our heroic football team home to celebrate this triumph, the atmosphere is nothing short of legendary! Honestly, the only real comparison that comes to mind is May 13, 1945. Just days after the German capitulation, a buzzing Oslo gathered to welcome Crown Prince Olav home! It was the moment captured in that iconic photograph: a 30-year-old Max Manus sitting in the front of an open-top car, Sten gun at the ready, while the Crown Prince reached out to a sea of ecstatic faces. Tonight, the weapons are gone, but that raw, collective heartbeat of a nation united in pure joy is exactly the same. What a night to be alive! ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ดโšฝ๏ธ

Let's be honest about what this actually shows: not Norway versus Morocco, but Norwegian fans at home versus Moroccan immigrants in European cities! That's the whole trick. Swap the label and the argument collapses. Because this isn't Morocco. In Morocco, people poured into the streets to celebrate - even after losing to France in the semifinal. What you witnessed in London, Amsterdam and Paris didn't come out of Morocco. It came out of Europe's own segregated suburbs. And yes - we Norwegians drink, we party, we scream in anger and disappointment, we trash our own living rooms, and we can still handle an old-school fistfight. Nobody's pretending we're saints! But above all we are a proud people. We are proud of our athletes, and we try to carry ourselves with honor even when we lose. That's a choice, not a race. So don't hand me "Moroccan culture." If it were culture, you'd see it strongest in Casablanca and Rabat - and you don't! You see it in the banlieues, in the neglected quarters, in the places Europe built and then abandoned! What you're looking at isn't a nation's character. It's the price of segregation and failed integration - and that bill is European!

@MarioNawfal NotQuite, Norwegians are celebrating with a gestures that evokes terrorism reign their ancestors plagued Muslim shores with, which is un-tasteful the least. The other video is showing protestors striken by anguish over Gaza genocide ! an elevated civility and concern for humanity
