The Benson Police Department requested the assistance of the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (NCSBI) & they began investigating the circumstances surrounding Cole’s disappearance, including conducting numerous searches in Johnston & Wayne County.

At the time of Cole’s disappearance, he was wearing a baseball cap, blue t-shirt with black long sleeves, and dark colored pants. Cole has brown/blonde hair, has blue eyes, is 6’1” tall and weighs 200 lbs. Thomas also has a tribal style tattoo on left chest and shoulder.
