Why 99% of trader give up

Almost quit trading so many times because nothing was working. Crazy how the thing that stressed me the most is now the same thing paying my bills.

I told everyone trading would make me financially free in a year. Took me almost five years just to become consistently profitable. Social media completely ruined my expectations at the start.

I used to hide my losses from everyone and act like trading was going great. Truth is, there were nights I sat staring at my screen wondering if I completely wasted years of my life chasing this. Glad I didn’t quit.

I used to stare at successful traders online thinking they had life figured out. Then I met a few profitable traders and realized most of them are still fighting their own mental battles quietly.

I deleted Instagram for almost a year because watching other traders post fake profits while I was struggling mentally kept messing with my head. Best decision I made for my trading and my peace.

My girlfriend told me she sees how hard I’m trying, but there’s still no physical evidence that trading is changing my life. She even told me to find at least a roadside job for now. That conversation hurt, but deep down I still believe things will eventually get better.

@Coldlogicfx That's why building your mentality is very necessary as a trader. One needs to be extra strong mentally to stand this game long term

I used to laugh at people who said trading affects your mental health. Then I became a trader myself and realized one bad week can make you question your entire future if you’re not mentally strong.

There was a time I genuinely believed one trade would solve all my problems. That mindset alone caused more damage to my account than any bad strategy ever did.

I lost friendships because I stopped going out and spent most of my time locked in my room studying charts. Everybody thought I was ruining my life chasing some internet dream. They only started respecting it after the withdrawals became real.

I took a loan to buy a funded account because I thought one payout would solve everything. Blew the account in 3 days. Since then, I have been borrowing money to pay back borrowed money while still trying to trade my way out of the hole.

@fundingurtrades it changes how trader ,they stop thinking clearly and start chasing money instead of waiting for setups
