EYFS at Coleridge Primary School

All these children in N1 have achieved 100% attendance this week. Which means they have been at school every day this week. Well done, keep it up! @ColeridgeSchool

Abdul and Nila were N1s star of the week. Abdul has been doing some amazing talking this week and Nila is one of my always children. Well done! @ColeridgeSchool

In N1s lets move session on Thursday we looked at balancing. We walked along different lengths and heights beams. We tried our best to keep our balance by putting our arms out for support. @ColeridgeSchool

In N1s welly wednesday session they created marks on large rolls of paper using paint. The children used sticks, leaves and feathers to create the marks. We spoke about what we had created and what colour we had used. @ColeridgeSchool

It was K 3rd birthday today and he kindly brought in some buns to share with his friends at school. I hope you enjoyed your birthday and thank you for the buns they were yummy! @ColeridgeSchool

On Friday these childrenin N1 had received the most dojo points for the week. Well done to you all, keep it up you have been amazing! @ColeridgeSchool

N2 have practiced making their own toast today! We spreaded our own butter and jam onto the toast using the plastic knives and we even practiced cutting these ourselves ! Well done guys 😊

These N2 children used their imagination to create a pic nic! One of them even brought them some flowers 😊

In our lets move session today we looked at balancing. We tried to balance on low beams, we placed our arms out for support and took gentle, small steps. @ColeridgeSchool

For our welly Wednesdays this week we looked at finding and drawing plants and flowers. Every child had a go at drawing a flower, we used daisy's for our inspiration. @ColeridgeSchool

Yesterday was Miss Rose's birthday. We sang her happy birthday and kindly brought us all a bun. Thank you they were yummy. @ColeridgeSchool

The Evil Pea has been causing trouble in our classroom today! We’ve been very busy building traps and can’t wait to see if we’ve caught him tomorrow! @ColeridgeSchool

Matilda brought her gymnastics certificate to school today. It had been her first class. She was telling her friends how much she had loved it. Well done Matilda and thank you for bringing us your certificate to show us. @ColeridgeSchool
