@brettclaxton First time? For Tokyo base yourself in Shinjuku. It’s great and you can get to everywhere easily from there. Hotel Gracery is ideal but pricy. If it’s too much look at Granbell! I’m going again in January and it’s consuming all my waking thoughts.

Realised that the Japan trip is just over 5 months away so time to get hotels locked in. If anyone has any suggestions in Tokyo, Kyoto or Osaka it'd be great to hear them!

On Her Majesty's Secret Service might be the single worst film I've ever seen in my life. Unscaled for budget and time, mind, Star Wars 9 has it beat hands down with context but it is _dire_.

@minimme Vietcong is great because when it came out I was 13 and weirdly into the 18 rated film Platoon. I never did get round to playing that strange Platoon RTS.
