You mean 25 rich people who invested heavily in AI and want their investments to pay off so they’re trying to ram it down our throats.

First look at the character Rachel from my upcoming film VIOLENCE. She never met an afternoon martini she didn't like. Rachel is played by my good friend and super talented actor @rachelamandabryant. Grateful for her talent and love of the craft.

From blank skin to a masterpiece in seconds. 🤯 The precision of this robotic tattoo machine is unreal!

First look at Arthur from my upcoming film VIOLENCE played by my old pal @AlmightyBonesLA. Grateful for this guy's commitment and trust to explore this character with me. This was a fun one.

Recently had my Flu Game. The first two days of production on my upcoming short film VIOLENCE were rough. Got back from traveling to Japan two days before we started and then got hit with the flu. So I was grinding splits starting at 3am with a 102 fever. Thanks to the doc that hit me with an IV and tons of drugs (legal). And to the great team on this. Their commitment pulled me through.

@tonytost What did they think? Still holds up well IMO. My oldest is probably 2-3 years away - he loves scary stories and is a budding horror kid at 7. My youngest (4), not until he's a teenager, I think. Anything beyond PBS kids is too much for him.

@ColinEFLawrence I think it depends on the kid. My youngest son could probably handle ROBOCOP at like 9. The other more like 12. (We watched it when they were more 16/14.)

I blame the parents. A part of childhood should be spent watching your dad's favorite violent movies & suffering through your mom's favorite songs in the car. That's how a living cultural memory is transmitted -- not via a perpetual bubble of age-appropriate content.

Film literacy among young people is at an all time low. My gen z students are shockingly unfamiliar with many key landmarks of modern cinema that were released in the 1990s
