One thing I keep coming back to with bathroom bans is that removing trans women doesn’t remove risk. It only removes some perception of risk.
Women can assault other women.
Men can break the law regardless of signs on the door.
Bad people don’t follow rules.
In most areas of society, we accept that risk can’t be reduced to zero, so we punish wrongdoing instead of restricting everyone ahead of time.
But in this debate, the standard sometimes becomes:
if harm is possible, access should be restricted.
That’s not how we handle risk anywhere else. Imagine driving privileges, guns, etc., all being handled that way?

@MountainGal18 @JoEllisReally @AndInTheEnd2 the transgendereds need to have a bloody civil war. whichever side wins can come to the public with their ask and i think most americans will give it a fair hearing
English

i’ve literally never heard a transgendered talking so much since. gatekeeping transgenderedism to exclude the AGP and Sat-night transvestites. almost never medicalizes a child. i’d like to see protections for same-sex attracted children added and think i could convince you on spousal consent!
English

what do you think @wesyang about society making accommodations for men based upon this framework?
Jo Ellis@JoEllisReally
@ColinLA @AndInTheEnd2 I wrote and posted a whole policy proposal on this. But no, spouse approval is not in there. Thats dumb.
English

@guypbenson @EWErickson he used the language of transgenderedism in describing god in order to appeal to leftists and did not care that others are offended
English

But he supports the policy that he calls a conspiracy theory. It was during this very legislative debate that he called God “nonbinary.”

🚨 UNEARTHED Texas Democrat U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico calls men in girls’ sports a "far-right conspiracy theory." Talarico is dangerously radical and will not protect Texas women and girls.

since the law recognizes a man & a woman as husband & wife, the law should be both parties agree to a legal sex marker change. if both parties don’t agree, a divorce must occur before considering a legal sex marker change. divorces are negotiations, and, quite rightly, a man who believes he must be affirmed in law as a woman has a weaker hand in the negotiated split of assets if he knows his sex change journey is on hold until the divorce is final. the law must privilege the interests of the spouse who is having her life turned upside down by the decision of the man she married to have a legal sex change.
English

There’s a growing moderate group of us that agree.
And no, transition doesn’t make someone else a lesbian. They would have to be same sex attracted. Spousal permission is silly. They can just divorce the person if they don’t like that the transitioned. It will be pretty obvious it’s happening.
English

@JoEllisReally @AndInTheEnd2 that’s pretty awesome! do any large cohort of transgendereds agree?
*a man who wants to become a woman against his wife’s wishes should absolutely have to divorce her before the state approves his legal sex marker change that officially turns his wife into a lesbian

@ColinLA @AndInTheEnd2 I think if a universal legal process existed for gender/sex marker change… and if someone was found to be be in a restroom or gendered space that didn’t match their legal documents, then they could be found to be trespassing by law enforcement
English

@JoEllisReally @AndInTheEnd2 do you support laws that criminalize men who use women’s intimate spaces if they haven’t completed the legal process for a sex marker change? don’t obfuscate in your reply!
English

@AndInTheEnd2 I’m generallly against selfID when it comes to legal gender/sex marker changes. I personally think SelfID was great for social reasons, not for legal conundrums
English

@BulwarkOnline the reason most democrats care about politics is their desire to privilege the interests of transgendereds, muslims, blacks, homeless, criminals, and asylum cheats

"In my conversations over the past few weeks, strategists and campaign staffers I’ve talked to across the country have argued that in order to win back working-class voters, Democrats just need to jiu-jitsu uncomfortable cultural questions about race or gender into criticism of the billionaire class." bit.ly/4uvgvXg

@L1001Li @R_D_Z_King @KhalilJeries @EylonALevy when every arab nation on Earth hates the arabs of ‘palestine’, an intelligent peoples would modify their behavior so as to be not so hated by their own kind

@squidddad @ManySuchCases we have a word in English for the people who don’t have a genital requirement - bisexual. it’s not derogatory. a man who mostly fucks men and occasionally fucks pussy is bisexual. even occassional opposite-sex attraction means bisexuality.
English

@ManySuchCases different from a c1s man. some people don’t care about genitals. some people don’t even want to use them. there’s more to attraction and relationships than penis and vagina.
English

@BubblesNCOS @FlashingGreen @BrandonTho12952 no man has ever lived as a woman. lots of men wish they had been born female, most never make the claim that means they are women, the word for the few who do is misogynist.
English

@FlashingGreen @BrandonTho12952 @ColinLA Why can't you respect her?
She's not asking you for anything. Everyone deserves respect.

@CoolRiderr a gay man with your looks should never even have to think about money. why do you waste time dating poors?
