@ColinMaddenUGC Do you warm up acc in the niche you want to make content in or just make the post go viral with some general content (looking at yoru screenshot it seems like that)
English

Most brands give UGC creators too much freedom and wonder why the content flops.
Nobody knows your product better than you.
Lock in a required video formula. Eliminate misinterpretation. Start strong.
Competitor research + strict creative guidelines = content that actually converts.
Example:

The data is here! Account health is really important.
We have seen multi viral creators flop due to bad warmups.
I've done a billion views on social media myself, and I cant guarantee virality.
The goal is to do everything you can to get your account at a healthy point. (getting thousands of views a post)
We find doing this helps a ton.
English

Most UGC brands are leaving MILLIONS of FREE views on the table.
Here's why:
Your creators just want to post and get paid. That's it. They're not thinking about strategy as much as you are. That's YOUR job.
So here's an easy win:
Take a video that already went viral. Have them upload it again.
Same video. New views. Zero extra work.
Your creators make the content. You run the strategy.
Every move YOU make matters.
This is just 3 days in, and its still growing.

We took an app to #1 on the App Store with organic UGC.
But let me tell you what REALLY happened behind the scenes (because no one talks about this):
Month 1 was a disaster.
We signed a 30-day contract to prove ourselves. Instead, we:
-Had the wrong creator profile entirely
-Barely hit 7-figure views (embarrassing for our promises)
-Didn't even fully understand the app's audience yet
The client was probably questioning if we knew what we were doing
We were learning in real-time. And honestly? We didn't have all the answers.
Here's what changed everything:
-We cut half the creators in week 2.
-Analyzed the data obsessively.
-Noticed a pattern—the male creators weren't resonating with the target audience at all.
-Made the hard call to pivot the entire creator roster.
The result? 150M+ views and #1 App Store ranking.
The real lesson here that agencies won't tell you:
Your UGC partner WILL make mistakes. They're figuring out YOUR specific product, YOUR audience, YOUR messaging in real-time.
What separates good from great isn't perfection—it's speed of learning.
Look for partners who:
✓ Analyze data daily, not monthly
✓ Kill underperforming content/creators fast
✓ Admit when something isn't working
✓ Pivot strategy based on results, not ego
Stop expecting your agency to nail it on day 1.
Start expecting them to be ruthless about iteration and obsessed with what the data is telling them.
That's the difference between mediocre campaigns and App Store domination domination.

We didn't stop at 80,000 users in a day. We hit 130,000 instead. Top 3 in the app store today 😅

Nobody in UGC wants to admit this...
Going viral once means nothing if your account is broken.
I've done a billion views on social media and still flopped on UGC campaigns as a creator.
Same creator. Same format. Bad results.
The reason nobody talks about? Account health.
Some accounts are just healthier than others — it depends on how you warm up, how you engage, and honestly some of it is unknown territory.
So instead of guessing, we built a 90-day system:
- Month 1 we test formats AND track which creator accounts underperform. Same formula, way fewer views? Cycled out.
-Month 2 the new creators skip the guessing phase entirely — they follow proven formats from day one, no bad videos, no low-view content tanking their health.
-Month 3 the data keeps compounding. Healthy accounts. Proven formats. Real results. Most agencies sell you "top" creators. We sell you a system.

Most people running UGC programs are leaving views on the table.
And they don't even know it.
Every single touchpoint matters. Good or bad.
Most brands just set it and forget it. Let the creators do their thing.
But here's what they miss:
Your creators are thinking about making content. YOU need to be thinking about strategy.
You're the puppet master. Act like it.
I told one of my creators to repost a video. Just changed the text hook.
It went from 95,000 views → 787,000 views.
One message. That's it.
Instagram is handing out free views right now.
You have a video sitting there with a million+ views on the table.
All you have to do is repost it.

English

@jaxxdwyer I think it works better on IG.
Also, it just depends. Not every creator has switched to using TT studio.
Its truly the method 🤫
English

@ColinMaddenUGC You find this works on ig too? Also do you have your creators save the base video to update for ads?
English

You're leaving hundreds of thousands of views on the table.
People think you have to remake the same video over and over.
You don't.
You can upload the exact same video and still accumulate views.
But here's what's even better:
-Have your creators film in CapCut or TikTok Studio.
That way they can swap the text hook. Change the music. Tweak small details.
-Same video. Fresh angles. More views.
-One video. Multiple lifespans.
EXAMPLE:

English

Most brands try UGC, post 200 times, see nothing, and quit.
The brands actually winning? They're at 600+ posts.
Here's the truth nobody talks about:
Most content flops. That's not failure — that's the game.
2–5 breakout winners will pay for your entire month.
The problem isn't the content. It's the math.
You can't find your winners without putting in the reps. You can't put in the reps without studying what the data is telling you. You can't learn from the data without posting enough to generate it.
Create. Post. Learn. Repeat.

Who do you want running your UGC program?
1). The media buyer who heard about organic UGC last month
OR
The guy who:
-Won TikTok's top creator award in 2022
-Hit 1B+ views across social
-Grew an organic TikTok to 500K+
-Made his first YouTube video at age 10
Anyone can sell you UGC. Not everyone lives and breathes UGC.

Your UGC agency is making you fund free entertainment.
I've spent the last 6 months producing 270M+ views and hundreds of thousands of real users for apps and SaaS products through UGC.
The #1 mistake I see:
Agencies selling you views with zero conversions.
That's not a growth strategy. That's funding free entertainment.
Real UGC growth has a clear CTA baked in. Not forced. Not salesy. But there. Every single video. The content feels organic, the offer is subtle — but it's always pointing somewhere.
TikTok and Instagram are handing out free reach right now. You don't need a big following. You need real product demos, consistent posting and a baked in CTA.
This is the golden age of organic social media.
Start posting TODAY!

I've been a full-time UGC creator for 5 years. TikTok awarded me Top Creator of 2022.
I still make content. Just to stay sharp.
Stepped in on a client account recently — found a repeatable format fast. Started converting like crazy. Kept doubling down!
This is week one and a half.
Here's what most people miss:
-The strategy lives inside the reps.
-You don't find it in a deck. You find it by doing.
The best UGC Agencies aren't just advisors. They're still creators.

English

Most UGC agencies sell you views.
The ones worth hiring optimize for downloads.
The difference?
Stop watching view counts. Start reading comments.
If people are talking about the product → you're on the right track.
When a video starts popping → double down fast. Iterate on what drove downloads, not what drove views.
Here's the hard truth:
You can't find them without the volume. You can't learn from the volume without studying the data.
-Volume without strategy is noise.
-Strategy without volume is theory.
Most brands quit month 1. Right before the breakthrough.
Create. Post. Learn. Repeat.
