Pete Hegseth, Trump’s Secretary of Defense, commented on the shortage of Tomahawk missiles in the U.S., claiming that “weapon stockpiles were depleted back under Biden due to shipments to Ukraine.” In reality, the U.S. has never supplied Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine — Hegseth is simply lying. They started a war without having the cards, and now they’re blaming Ukraine.

Russias largest oil export terminal, Primorsk. has been blown up. It processes a million barrels a day. This will take forever to repair. Trump removed russian oil sanctions so Ukraine installed their own this morning.

Over the past week, Russia launched nearly 1,550 attack drones against Ukraine, more than 1,260 guided aerial bombs, and two missiles. Over that same week, due to the easing of sanctions, Russia increased its crude oil sales to finance its war. Revenues give Russia a sense of impunity and the ability to continue the war. That is why pressure must continue and sanctions must work. Russia’s shadow fleet must not feel safe in European waters or anywhere else. Tankers that serve the war budget can and must be stopped and blocked, not just let go. I thank every leader who makes such decisions. This is what brings a dignified peace closer.

Trump is utterly disgusting. Surely we cannot be far from the time when King Charles refuses to be involved in Trump’s attempts to use a significant 🇺🇸 anniversary for his own ends. Just take today - for a US President to say “I’m glad he’s dead” of a man who has devoted his life to public service is beyond vile. And his endorsement of Orban (farewell any notion of not interfering in other countries’ politics) puts him in the Putin camp once more, furthering the risk to Ukraine. Add in the endless insults of @Keir_Starmer and I really think the time has come for the 👑 to follow the Pope in being otherwise engaged .

It is absolutely insane that Russia is actively helping Iran target and kill American troops, and Trump’s response is to lift sanctions on Russian and Iranian oil. This amounts to handing billions to our enemies as a twisted thank you, which is both weak and treasonous

Two countries with nuclear weapons are bombing a country without nuclear weapons to prevent nukes, then tell the world to support the war to reopen a strait that wasn’t blocked before they started bombing it and now Trump is golfing at his shitty resort again.
