Sick of seeing the cost of energy cited in rationale for ticket prices going up. The footballers would not be playing in the dark if supporters weren't there. And midweek games wouldn't be kicking off at 2pm on a Wednesday when Europe's TV audience is in work.

There is a direct correlation between squad salaries and performance on the pitch. Most of the money the club generates goes straight into the pockets of players.

If that's the case ask the players who people campaign to get these wages to pay it out of their pocket. You'll never ever see a Mo Salah or VVD ask for price reductions for us but we all demand they get their contracts.

The club owners have pushed for cost controls via salary caps. The PL said no, so players like Salah pocket £400k a week. Either you want the club competitive or you don't.
