There are two Canadas. There is the one the Boomers live in, where their homes are paid off, they go to their cottages, their homes have increased in value to insane levels. These people love Mark Carney. Then there is the rest of us, who are watching the entire system collapse.

My wife says this never happened. Does anyone else remember when milk came in glass bottles and the milkman would deliver it to your doorstep before sunrise? You’d leave the empties out for him to pick up!

@larsencc Wonderful! You just described my life. Going into year 36 as a very happily married couple. Love how we have taken both of our roles seriously. Have loved and served each other unabashedly. Raised 2 wonderful kids and are enjoying grand parenting now💕

I always tell people, get a great wife. Best ROI of your life and I'm not even joking. My wife has a master's degree in food technology and chose to stay home with our daughter. She takes the night shifts with our baby so I can sleep and work the next day. She started cooking again even though our daughter is only a few weeks old. She walks to the hacker house mid-day to bring me food with the baby strapped to her (everyone in the office loses their minds). I get home around 5-6 and keep coding if I need to. Sometimes until midnight with my daughter sleeping on my chest. We've been together six years. She handles home, I handle work. I could never ship at this level without her and I don't think she gets enough credit.
