@Lauren_Southern There’s a reason why if you were chronically online in these years you couldn’t talk to coworkers about any of it because they would be like “wtf are you talking about”. And why the more social life you had the less online you became. You realized it was autism. Always has been.

Every day, I get letters from young people who grew up inside the political ecosystem and are finally realizing it simply doesn’t survive contact with real life. Online, forcing every major life decision into a rigid ideological box makes you “based.” In real life, it makes you miserable and everyone around you thinks you’re insane. More and more people are breaking out. Real life is complicated.... that's not a defect to be corrected by political yapping online all day. That's the entire point of being human.

I used to have this take when I was younger. Then I experienced dark times I thought couldn’t happen to me. I truly understood why people do it, it was scary to have that realization. I never considered it, but I decided I wouldn’t have that attitude towards those people ever again.
