Well. That's a separate point I didn't want to touch on, but since you're mentioning it: In general, I don't like gomen mixing with biz. If this policy was initiated by Minister, then it should involve multiple operators (including small ones). If it was proposed by Zus, then gov shouldn't be their free promo vehicle. I've no idea what the situation is here - more transparency on the nature of the relationship between Zus and gov in this instance would help.

Hi @hannahyeoh, salam sejahtera I think the policy is silly and disconnected from reality, but I appreciate you trying to do something. No need to "work with Zus to collect the data....analyse the pattern". Feel free to ask your officers to contact me - using only open-source data (public transport ridership, traffic cams, Google Maps), I can already show you the time distribution of travel into KL in the morning, and out of KL in the evening. And if you add the additional data which gov has access to, you'll get an even richer picture. Hint: It's massively driven by the time people send their kids to school, and your policy will barely move the needle.

After four years, the only conclusion is that there is not a lot of difference between PH and BN, when it comes to protesting against the government. The other common thing is the inability of both governments to control the police. No institution in Malaysia is capable of controlling the police. The entire political class is afraid of the police. @CollinYeoh To be fair that is a temple. Hari Raya is a Muslim festival. For the same reason churches also don't do Raya open houses. You are not allowed to spread your religion to the Malays. That is the rule of Malaysia.

Habis diserang kedua agama oleh mereka2 yang suka memecahbelahkan rakyat. Yang menganjur dikatakan buta agama. Yang disambut dikatakan mula menghasut. Benda dah pernah jadi.

@CollinYeoh Janganlah macam tu. Hari Raya Aidilfitri memang hari kemenangan umat Islam berpuasa. Nak buat di rumah ibadat agama lain,kan tak elok jadinya. Tapi, tempat saya buat open house, ramai je non Muslim datang. YB Non Muslim buat majlis hari raya di dewan, ramai je Muslim datang.
