A friend in Malawi showed me their new fuel prices and I got curious, so I compared with ours. Petrol in 🇲🇼 has jumped by over 30%, Zambia it only moved by about 2%, but diesel jumped almost 30%. The difference is Zambia reduced some fuel taxes for now, while Malawi passed the cost directly to consumers. The price hasn’t disappeared, it has just moved 🤨

@jwilshirevic @briansimasiku The difference is that Angolian gas is expensive, to extract hence the reason why most African prefers going 4 the cheaper.....even Angola itself import finished oil.its cheap wen looking but expensive wen u invest, u will almost spend the same amount of buying from the mis east
