AFC Knowsley is extremely excited and proud to announce we have been accepted into the North West Counties League FL  This a prestigious moment for a what was once a little club in Huyton to now being potentially in the NWC. The club has worked tirelessly over the last few months and It’s a massive achievement and would like to thank all that’s been on this journey with us. We are extremely excited to achieve step 6 football and bring this into the Borough of Knowsley and look to grow our partnerships.  The counties doesn't just impact the 1st team it impacts the club, being able to offer our players pathways to Counties (Semi Pro) is huge. Huge thanks to our sponsors especially @MontirexUK who have played a big part in our progression.  Big thanks to @WestCheshireLge and @CheshireFL for allowing us to participate in their respective leagues. We were very unfortunate yesterday were we saw a 11 year old child collapse on the pitch and was unconscious for 4 mins. The response by club members was outstanding and the defibrillator was deployed. Thankfully it was not needed but it very much hit home, when you hope it won’t happen, but it did. We are extremely pleased to report the young player is recovering well in hospital. Huge thanks to Northwest Ambulance Service who were on site very fast and looked at the player impeccably. Next time breakfast is on us. Amazing guys 👏👏👏 Please make sure your club members do dummy runs, as you never know when it will happen. What a club. One big family 💙🖤 Thanks

@Mouhssin_Ismail @MrDavidScales I’m not a fan of 100% ebacc as an aspiration. Largely because I don’t like kids being forced to do MFL. If kids doing an exam in their home language - again - I’m not a fan - it feels like it’s for the school’s stats not the child. I might have misunderstood this.
