@Collinslayla @RationalPurview Layla, is Jay saying that the data/AI centers must PROVIDE THEIR OWN POWER BEFORE being allowed to construct their centers? His speech did not come across like that to me. Please have him clear that up. I'd really like to vote for him, but not if FL taxpayers pay for the grid.

Conversations matter. Leadership matters. And problems get solved when people are willing to talk face-to-face. Our law enforcement officers put their lives on the line for Florida families every day. They deserve respect, not confusion or mixed signals over the badge they wear. @RationalPurview I'm totally re-thinking my support for Collins. He has announced the if we are to attract data centers, we need to get the energy plants ready for them. That means he expects us to build their power plants. He said "build it and they will come". He's for the big data/AI centers!

I respect the Lt. Gov and consider him a friend, but this is not the way we talk to Gen Z.
The biggest reason my generation is motivated to support populist, anti-establishment candidates is because we want leaders who not only value our input, but are willing to get on our level and listen to our concerns.
We DON’T want to be forced to sit and stay quiet.
We’re TIRED of being told to “wait your turn”.
We REFUSE to be talked down to.
Yes, of course we’re young and have much to learn through life experience and maturity, I get that.
But this kind of rhetoric is exactly the type of discouraging language that has pushed younger people to the Left for so many decades.
We need strong conservative leaders who understand how to guide young Americans in a way where they feel their dignity is honored and their voices are heard. 🇺🇸
