@Maggiewitdsauce All I know is… two persons can’t get lured to believe a lie. If the person someone is lying to does not know, definitely the victim knows. Also one would need several lies to backup a single lie which would later dent ones personality.

Omoh, I just remembered how one guy from my hometown claimed to be my family member just to impress a lady and try to get with her. Unfortunately for him, the lady actually knows me and my family, so she reached out to confirm the story.
This man started listing all my grandfather’s children one after the other and then conveniently inserted himself somewhere into the family hierarchy 😂
I asked for his picture at least to see if he was one of my uncles I probably did not recognise, but the face was completely unfamiliar. I then sent the picture to our family group chat to ask if anyone knew him. Nobody did, until one person recognised him as the son of one of the elderly staff who once worked for our family.
This is exactly how fake lifestyles begin. One unnecessary lie to impress someone, then another lie to sustain the first one, before you gradually find yourself buried in layers of deception and unnecessary spending, trying to maintain a lifestyle that was never truly yours in the first place.
