Anyone with a few years of organizing experience has seen this dynamic. As pointed below, this isn’t contained to Palestine organizing- it’s a built in feature of the US system. Remarkable how some folks talking/writing about counter insurgency would still work with these orgs

an indispensable report. this is the same dynamic that i have highlighted in the case of Cop City and Atlanta’s movement space more generally. the philanthropic arms of the same corporations and institutions that make up the police foundation also fund the local NPIC. 🧵

in the absence of revolution, stands the blossoms of the seeds of compromise. everybody took the bag. we built orgs & movements. expanded university offerings. wrote books. got comfortable. & the stagnant demands for the reforms to remain still impede what is to be done.

obviously this can’t be separated from the demands of the movements for revolution (abolition) being usurped for reforms (tangible action items, representation, resource padding for those otherwise paid dust) nbcnews.com/news/nbcblk/bl…

“Identity reductionism…is the liberal tendency to parasitically latch onto ppl categorically oppressed by systems: white supremacy…cisheteropatriarchy, ableism [etc. —] Yet, they are ideologically in conflict w/ social justice movements seek[ing] to dismantle that oppression.”
Scalawag@scalawagmag

In their latest for Scalawag, Sol Elias critiques the elite capture of the term misogynoir, namely its use in shielding liberal Black politicians like Jasmine Crockett and Kamala Harris from accountability and righteous criticism scalawagmagazine.org/2026/04/death-…

Ebrahim Hudayfa, son of the late Abu Obeida (Hudayda al-Kahlout) has published an important message detailing that Tufan al-Aqsa was a preemptive strike based on intelligence collection by the Qassam Brigades. Although this is not entirely a novel revelation, what is most notable is that this intelligence was collected through “aerial surveillance” in conjunction with a “cyberattack” conducted in the period preceding 7 October. (This is, incidentally, in keeping with the conclusion I reached in my 19 March 2026 research article, “The Hackers of the Islamic Resistance Movement: A Historical Review of Hamas' Hackers, Digital Intelligence and Cyberattacks,” where I analyze the DDoS attacks that Qassam’s “Cyber Weapon” unit undertook in the weeks preceding Tufan al-Aqsa.) Ebrahim Hudayfa’s newly published message reads: “In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Helper and the Supporter, who fulfilled His promise, granted victory to His servant, strengthened His soldiers, and single-handedly defeated the confederates. Prior to October 7, [which was] a preemptive strike unprecedented in the history of the Zionist entity, the Qassam Brigades, through aerial surveillance and in conjunction with a cyberattack, discovered a treacherous Zionist plan, an operation of the following name: “The Cry of the Young Over the Old” (“בכיית הילדים על המבוגרים”, “Bchiat ha-yaladim al ha-mvugarim”). This operation aimed to assassinate 40 of the highest-ranking members of the leadership of al-Qassam and their families in the first strike, using warplanes, within less than half an hour. It also aimed to bomb all al-Qassam sites and all affiliated targets. It was estimated that there would be ten thousand martyrs in the first strike alone. This would be followed by the beginning of a large ground operation aimed at destroying rocket platforms. This is one of the reasons, though not the main reason, that led to the 7 October operation. ‘And Allah is predominant over His affair; but most people do not know.’ - Abu Hudhaifa”

"Unprecedented Exposure": Handala leaks identities of 80 senior spies from the “Iran Desk” of israel’s top-secret Unit 8200. Here's the full text of what they published: For the first time ever, Handala has successfully released the full list of names, photos, and personal details of 80 senior officers from the “Iran Desk” of Israel’s top-secret Unit 8200. These officers are primarily stationed at the ultra-classified Base 042 in Rosh HaAyin, the nerve center of Israel’s cyberwarfare, information technology, and cognitive operations against Iran and the Axis of Resistance. These individuals are not just intelligence officers; they are the chief architects behind advanced technological projects, including: ‣ Development of artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms for identifying and tracking Persian-speaking targets worldwide ‣ Building big data analytics systems and smart monitoring tools for social media and cyberspace surveillance ‣ Managing offensive cyber operations, including hacking and infiltration of critical infrastructure and communications networks ‣ Designing automated psychological and perception warfare operations to influence public opinion and engineer mass perception at scale ‣ Running cyber-espionage networks and managing both human and robotic assets across digital platforms A significant portion of these officers are highly proficient in the Persian language and state-of-the-art technologies, directly responsible for operationalizing the next generation of security-focused AI, automating cyberattacks, and behavioral analytics targeting Iranian users. Many of these key players are internationally-trained specialists and elite tech minds, now deployed on the frontlines of cognitive and cyber warfare for the Israeli regime. Now, not only have their identities been made public, but their locations, communications routes, and even their specialized digital toolkits have been tracked and documented by Handala. This exposure is a major blow to the technological and security infrastructure of the Zionist regime. From now on, even the darkest rooms of cyberwarfare and the most advanced intelligence projects will be transparent and observable to the Resistance. The 2025 documentary Pistachio Wars by Yasha Levine (Watermelon Pictures) shows that billionaire California pistachio magnates Stewart and Lynda Resnick, owners of The Wonderful Company, use their influence to drive a hardline U.S. foreign policy against Iran to protect their market monopoly. The film links the couple to funding hawkish think tanks like the Washington Institute for Near East Policy (WINEP) that advocate for policies that “kill” all diplomatic efforts. @pistachiowars | @watermelon_pics

💢 REPORT | Opening Strikes in U.S.-Israeli Bombing Campaign Targeted Heart of Iran’s Pistachio Trade Iran was once the world’s leading pistachio producer. Today, USDA data show the U.S., led by California, accounts for roughly 65% of global output, while Iran’s share has fallen to about 18%. In the first week of the war, reports and geolocated satellite imagery indicated strikes in and around Rafsanjan, the heart of Iran’s pistachio sector, including apparent damage to pistachio warehouse facilities near the airport. The Resnick family, owners of The Wonderful Company and dominant players in California’s pistachio industry, have used political influence to secure vast water rights in drought-stricken regions, at the expense of local communities. The 2025 documentary Pistachio Wars examines their longstanding backing of pro-Israel lobbying groups, arguing that hawkish policies toward Iran align with their commercial interests, as weakening a key global competitor benefits their bottom line. 🎥 Pistachio Wars (2025) trailer.

💢 After Israel massacred 357 people in a single day in Lebanon, and amid escalating European backlash, pro-Israel accounts have begun “discovering” copies of Adolf Hitler’s autobiography in Lebanon, like they did in Gaza at the height of Israel’s genocide and starvation campaign. Lebanon’s Health Ministry said Wednesday’s strikes killed 357 and wounded 1,223, part of a wave of attacks that hit around 100 sites across the country within ten minutes, including central Beirut. Since March 2, at least 1,953 people have been killed, more than 6,300 wounded, and roughly 1.2 million displaced. The strikes came just hours after a U.S.-Iran ceasefire announcement, that was stated to include Lebanon. European leaders have also said the truce should extend to Lebanon. The European Commission condemned the attacks as an “unacceptable threat to civilian lives,” while EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said it is “hard to argue that such heavy-handed actions fall within self-defense.” French officials have called the strikes “disproportionate” and are pushing to reopen discussions on suspending or revising the EU-Israel Association Agreement, with Spain backing calls to suspend the pact outright.
