The Columbus District Golf Association is saddened by the passing of Jim Hartley. Jim served as President of the CDGA in 1985, on the CDGA Board of Directors, and was an integral part of the annual CDGA/Jack Kidwell Scholarship selection.

Congratulations to the 2025 Columbus District Golf Association Player of the Year, Jeg Coughlin III (The Golf Club). Coughlin’s season included a win at the Ohio Mid-Amateur Championship and a runner-up finish at the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship.

Congratulations to York GC’s Joe Podolski on winning 2025 CDGA Senior Player of the Year. Podolski was a two-time CDGA champion in 2025, winning both the CDGA Senior Amateur & CDGA Tournament of Champions Senior division.
