Stuff like this is why i got super into the show, watching normal humans goin up against super humans felt so tense and fun to watch
Really just lost it overtime more they got supes on their side (kimiko, annie, temporarily soldier boy), got V and just constant plot armor

they’ve been setting annie up to be dogpiled on for actions that are so ooc for her. they’ve pretty much destroyed her character by making her unable to fight using her powers and by having her lecture marie about the use of HER powers. i really don’t get why the writers did this

On one hand, I hated how her character’s full power wasn’t really showcased, but I feel like this also shows the kinds of conditions she endured with Shao that would have driven her to take her own life

shao kahn's cruelty was portrayed very accurately in this movie. he's terrifying. i felt bad for everyone forced to serve him, and especially felt sick witnessing sindel's tragic fate. hopefully they restore her in the sequel.

@starkcanarie It’s pretty much a classic case of “Deus exit Machina” unfortunately. Kripke knows Annie could in theory one shot most of the villains on this show and thus nerfs her so the Boys are perpetually screwed.

His death was underwhelming and I wish him and Deep had a proper fight scene but whatever. Idk why people are so shocked that he got killed so easily. He’s an actor, not an experienced fighter like the real Noir. He’s almost as petty and selfish as Deep, 2 rotten peas in a pod.
