103 years ago today the Broadway cast of The Rainbow Girl performed to benefit United Jewish Charities of Hartford. The charities were in great need from the outbreak of the Spanish Flu.
Just like today, the Hartford community came together in times of need.

The brick smokestack with “COLT” spelled out vertically in black brick letters is the Colt Armory Power Plant. Constructed in 1916, this single story structure provided steam for heating the Colt Armory complex.
