@kyleworley One of the biggest pastoral applications (IMHO) might be: how does this honoring look when we are adults and our parents are aging? How does the honoring look from adult children whose aging parents are making (self)destructive choices?

@jenniferwilkin around 42:00 of the most recent episode of KF, you said the Jesus is the priest who sits. Is that image only in Hebrews 8:1-2, or are there other places in Scripture? And is that image of God sitting only theological, or could it also be used pastorally?

Trayvon Martin.
He should be turning 30 today.
30.
He should have 3 decades behind him and be planning for more.
My heart goes out to his parents and family.

Okay I am not defending these two but holy shit. Does this guy have any other fashion advice other than "I don't know, maybe try a loose fit."

@SocietyQueen999 I honestly got to a point in my mid-20s where I felt like I focused too much on myself. I wanted to pour *out* and I love kids and I had a partner who wanted to be a parent.

@MonteSyrie One of my fave podcasters asks this question to his interviewee at the start of every conversation. But he asks it 5 or 6x in a row. Pushing the guest to share more, push deeper. I looooove listening to how people handle that.

Open-door classroom.
My door is always open.
Part claustrophobia (don’t fence me in).
Part insecurity (am I the imposter?).
Part accountability (nothing to hide).
Part possibility (everything to share).
Doors are windows as long as they’re open.
Maybe, then, I have a window classroom. #Project180
