Have you ever heard of something like this?
We processed staff salaries today, and one employee complained that he had not received his salary. Both the company and the employee maintain accounts at @ComBank_LK . We verified the bank account number, and there were no errors. The employee opened this account just two months ago and has already carried out transactions through it.
However, we have now discovered that the bank has assigned that same account number to a different customer. Can you believe this? How could something like this happen? This is a newly opened, active account - not an old, inactive, or dormant one.
To make matters worse, the banks are closed today, tomorrow as weekend, and Monday due to Poya. This situation appears to be a serious breach of trust and internal controls by the bank.

Is Com Bank the worst bank in the country for service? It took me 45 minutes to deposit cash at the counter. There was a huge crowd in the bank, and only two employees were at the counters. Nobody from management bothered to take any action. #lka
