hi guys ♡ sorry for being a little inactive lately, i’ve been dealing with some irl things, but i really wanted to share this piece with you all. the moment i saw this dress, i immediately thought about the traditional jíbara dresses from Puerto Rico that we wear during november celebrations to honor and celebrate our heritage. i’ve been wanting to create something inspired by them for quite a while, and i finally decided to bring that vision to life in my own way. this is more of a fantasy interpretation, but i tried to keep the essence that reminds me so much of home. the red, white, and blue colors, the layered skirt, the lace details, and that elegant folkloric feeling our traditional dresses carry all inspired this look. i also love how latina she looks here, and being able to create something that reflects my culture in such a beautiful way genuinely makes me emotional. this piece feels very personal to me because it represents my island, my roots, and the pride i feel for where i come from 🇵🇷 thank you for always supporting my creativity and allowing me to share little pieces of myself with you all. i truly hope you guys like this one 🫶🏻 #InfinityNikki
