Comdex Upgrade v13.2.0 Comdex will be undergoing a pivotal upgrade in the coming few weeks. This upgrade has been being worked on for several months and will be one of the major upgrades since the genesis of the chain. After the planned v13.2.0 upgrade, Comdex aims to transition itself to a fully permissionless Cosmwasm chain. Expanding into a permissionless network is imperative for developers aiming to bypass financial and technical hindrances, as well as governance-related delays. This shift will enable developers to swiftly deploy their applications, leveraging Comdex’s DeFi modules to create robust, interoperable applications that perfectly align with Comdex's vision as a premier Layer 1 platform. A governance proposal to enable permissionless Cosmwasm will be live soon on the chain. Another major change in v13 is the significant reduction of block times to below ~3 seconds. This improvement will notably enhance the user interface and enable the deployment of consumer-facing products that necessitate fast finality and transaction speeds.
