Today our Concert Choir received the top rating of SUPERIOR in Class AA at the OMEA District AE which qualifies them for State!! #CometPride

Thank you to Michael Shirtz of OSU for coming in yesterday to help our Concert Choir make their final refinements for OMEA! They will be performing at Elyria HS at 10:40am this morning in Class AA.

Earlier this week we were fortunate enough to have Eric Richardson come work with our Concert Choir as they prepare for their performance at the OMEA District AE on Saturday at Elyria HS. He gave valuable feedback and helped to add new layers of musicianship to our performance!

Quite an eventful morning with the BMX #nohatetour! Kudos to Mr. Wolf for having nerves of steel!

On Saturday we had 32 students participate in OMEA Solo & Ensemble. Of the 22 events, 16 received the highest rating while the others received the second highest rating! All of these students gave great performances and received valuable feedback from their judges!!

Congratulations to Corynn and Isaac who represented Amherst as members of the OMEA ALL STATE CHOIR this evening in Columbus!! They gave a remarkable performance following multiple days of intensive rehearsals. Their hard work and dedication continue to pay off! #CometPride

Our Madrigals closed out their holiday performances with a visit to Independence Village this afternoon! What a great way to end a busy season!!

Our Madrigals loved performing for the AJH choir members this morning!! We performed, had the entire program join us in singing Carol of the Bells (and had siblings/cousins singing together!), then had time for our HS singers to talk and answer questions from the AJH singers!

Congratulations to Mrs. Po and all of the members of the AJH choirs on a WONDERFUL concert tonight!!

Our Madrigals had a great time performing for a Widow's Luncheon today. Such a wonderful group of people and we felt honored to be able to spread some holiday cheer for them!
